The LGBTQ community celebrates annually at the North Carolina Pride parade in Durham. Increasingly, participation and support by the broader community, church groups and business lends to the festive atmosphere.
A few dissenters still attend as these photos from '09 and '10 show, but they detract little from positive spirit of the occasion.
